What's new
Version 1.3.0
Every sport, not just strength. The Workouts tab (formerly Strength Workout) now tracks running, swimming, rowing, climbing, skiing, yoga and more, each with its own progress over time.
- Log Activity fits your sport: treadmill incline, pool and laps, rower damper, flat or hilly routes, ski vertical and top speed
- New activities: tennis, pickleball, climbing, boxing, martial arts, soccer, basketball, skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and stretching
- Climbing: log climbs per grade and see your hardest grade over time, a grade pyramid and your bests
- Cardio and timed holds inside workouts, with fields that fit each exercise
- Edit past workouts, including the day and start time
- Open and update templates without starting a workout
- Start a workout straight from Log Activity, with your sport already added
- Each sport shows with its own icon in your workout history
- Better on iPad: progress charts side by side, and a roomier water card
- More reaches Apple Health: calories, distance, elevation, vertical, top speed and pool length
- Workouts now record every detail reliably
Version 1.2.0
Your templates are safe now. Workouts and templates sync to your private iCloud, so they come back when you reinstall or set up a new device. You can also export a backup file yourself and restore it any time. Settings now show whether iCloud sync is actually working, instead of failing quietly.
- Steps, your way: swipe the steps graphic on Today to switch between the track, a winding walk, or a clean bar readout. Your pick sticks.
- Tap any goal to type the number you actually want — 35 oz, 8,675 steps, anything. The − and + buttons move in smaller steps too.
- Better on iPad: a bigger steps graphic, and cards that fill the screen — three across in portrait, four in landscape.
- Stability fixes and tidier water quick-add buttons
Version 1.1.2
Custom accent colors. Pick any color you like, and the whole app follows your lead.
- Richer detail on logged activities, so pace, distance and calories are easier to see at a glance
- A fix for a crash some people hit when starting a workout from a template or the exercise library
Version 1.1.1
Fixes a crash that could occur when opening a saved workout.
Version 1.1
BuiltDaily is now native on iPad — the whole app, redesigned for the bigger screen.
- New: untimed workouts — spread your sets across the whole day, no clock running
- Small fixes and polish throughout
Version 1.0
The first release: the Today dashboard, strength workouts with templates and live sessions, water logging, and trends — all synced with Apple Health, with no account and no server.
